This summer I have found geometric figures in unexpected places in the city Dozza, in the region Emilia-Romagna where my hometown is too. For the occasion of the Painted Wall Biennal (Biennale del Muro Dipinto) started from 1965, when famous artists painting their artworks on the walls of the houses on September for four days, as a art galley under the sky.
One of the artist scratched the artwork on the gateway wall of the city centre.
The beauty of art for me is that doesn't need to make sense, but it can still express reflections, like this scratches on the wall: they give to this gateway a different look. It is enriched by figures that seem to float in it and because they are prospective of figures, it seems that they are actually floating inside the wall.
Plus, the fact that there is a clock in the top part, let the viewers perceive the different position of the figures as the movement given by the passing of the time.
