Keeping focus during the quarantine

The coronavirus blocked all my expectation for my MA. The university was locked down for safety, as all London City, but we struggle to continuing our corse and mainly to find again the concentration for continuing and finishing our projects. Live streaming became the way we keep connected with what was happening outside, especially in the art and design world. Due to this "paralysis", the co-founder of Arduino with his team launched Bar Arduino, a weekly live streaming where people got hosted to talk about the projects they develop thanks to Arduino. It was exactly what I needed to go back to focus on my kinetic sculptures and encouraged watching other making things. In particular, an interaction designer on the episode 2 - Italian version really helped me to understand what possible professional development I can look at: Alice Mela. She started as product designer but when she got graduated, she decided she didn't want to do products. Interaction design caught her attention and decided to apply to a course in Stockholm. In this way she started using Arduino to make her prototypes, as I am doing. The video is still on Youtube available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySMk6qCQCJ0&list=PLT6rF_I5kknOLpPJVq5ZuUr0WHFzVg5YI&index=3

At the time 12:40 she starts her presentation (but in Italian!)

Here is a screenshot with one of her projects:

Thanks to this testimonies, every week I can get my mind on track and not let all go in desperation and I have various examples of presentation and talks about different project I can be inspired by for my practice.
