One of the aspect I found interested about my work is that when it is laid on a surface it seems a 2D figure, but when it get picked up, it develops its 3D structure. Something that goes against physic is the fact that usually the prospective of a figure, of a cube in this case, has to be drew in a specific way, with different misuses regarding the sides, whereas my cube keep the same length of the sides.
Exploring shapes I can get from the cube with elastic thread inside:
I need to have a preview of what shapes I can get and how much I can stretch it to decide the size of the scaffolding that will support the cube.
